Solar Market Outlook in Slovakia

The Slovakian Energy Ministry is committed to pushing its renewable energy sector in order to achieve its target in the next 5 years or so. Majority of the solar energy sector is dependent on supply equipment from the US and other global developers of PV systems in order to meet its targets. 

The current electric generation in Slovakia is lower than most other European countries. Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) is essentially an algorithm included in charge controllers that is used for extracting maximum available power from PV modules under certain conditions. The voltage at which PV modules can produce maximum power is called “maximum power point” or “peak power voltage.”
