Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Limited (Reel) has a leading position in the electronics industry of Rajasthan. The company is a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan through their respective institutions. The company was awarded the status of "Mini Ratna" in the year 1997 by the Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Industry, Government of India for its good performance and excellent products. In all of these areas, it is dedicated to facilitating manufacturing through a nationwide network of content management, quality assurance, R&D, planning and finance management, as well as infrastructure, marketing offices and after-sales service. As far as revision and updating of existing products as per customer requirement and development activity for introducing new products, the company is self-sufficient. Corporate Office, Mansarovar, Jaipur Reel has its registered office and factory complex in Jaipur, Rajasthan which is famous as the Pink City of India which is known for its palaces, forts, museums and handicrafts all over the world. The city is fully connected by rail, road and air to two major metropolises of India, New Delhi and Mumbai and is also part of the golden triangle of tourism with New Delhi and Agra. Reel's registered office and manufacturing facility are located in Kanakpura Industrial Area which is mainly 12 kilometers from Jaipur city and in a vast complex of ten acres of land amidst lush green environment more than 2700 sq. M. Spread over the area. The city has corporate offices and in most parts of the country there are Area Maintenance Centers (FMCs) and sub-FMCs. The company has set up a quality management system for its operations and has been certified as ISO 9001 company since July 31, 1998.
