FlexiSolar are structure designers, manufacturers and installation experts born out of Inside2Outside, a canopy and R&D company that has been responsible for the development of unique canopy products and solutions for over twenty years. Inside2Outside incubated and developed the concept of FlexiSolar in 2009 and caught the eye of the government departmental body Innovate UK, who backed the concept in 2017 to enable us to scale up rapidly to meet the increasing demand for turning car parks into clean energy power stations. We have worked closely with well-known research and industrial partners such as Cambridge University, SKANSKA and Siemens in development of the next generation of flexible, weatherproof photovoltaic membranes. This Tensile PV material is at the forefront of design and functionality, opening up power generation and style options never previously possible. Investment from British and European research bodies have further validated the work we have done in this sector, allowing us to continue to expand our offering of the latest technologies.
