After years of working together as solar project planners and with the experience of (now) more than 1000 completed solar projects, Dipl. Ing. Alexander Koller and room master Hans Böcherer wanted a PV mounting system that was easy and yet safe to work with is. Not finding anything suitable on the market, they decided in 2007 to develop their own mounting system. In 2009 the application for a patent followed. In 2010 they both founded the company ClickCon GmbH based in Freiburg i. Brsg. In 2010, the ClickCon mounting system ClickRail was presented to the public for the first time at the Intersolar in Munich. The simple system with the assembly trolley was immediately enthusiastically received by the experts. In 2010 ClickCon goes international. Pretty soon after the launch of ClickRail and successful deployments throughout Germany, the first projects came from abroad. So ClickCon is now also being used successfully in England, France, Belgium and Holland. In 2010 more than 5MW of solar projects were realized with the ClickRail mounting system. In 2011, the newly developed ClickPlain in-roof system for fully integrated roof areas was presented for the first time at the GET trade fair in Freiburg. This new development is to be presented internationally at the Intersolar 2011 in Munich. In 2011, the new ClickPlain in-roof system was presented to the international public at the Intersolar with resounding success. Some projects could already be discussed during the fair, the first of which could be realized just a few weeks later. In 2011 the first solar system with a ClickCon mounting system was installed in North Africa. A carport facility with the ClickPlain in-roof system is being built in Tunisia. In 2011, another 7.5 MW of solar projects were realized with the ClickCon mounting systems. In 2012, the largest solar system in the Netherlands was built using the ClickCon mounting system ClickRail. A solar system with a total output of 1.6 MW is being built on an industrial building near Eindhoven. In 2012, the ClickCon mounting system was used for the first time on a foil roof. In 2012 the ClickCon CarPort will be presented at the Intersolar . The CarPort is a modular carport system that was developed from the ClickPlain in-roof mounting system. The CarPort is a cooperation with the innovative Freiburg module manufacturer SI-Module, whose transparent modules are an ideal match for the CarPort concept. The first CarPorts were sold at the Intersolar. In 2012, another 9.5 MW of solar projects were realized with ClickCon mounting systems. Switzerland and Austria can be gained as new, strong sales areas. In 2013, as every year at the Intersolar, ClickCon can present a new PV mounting system, the ClickEasy rapid mounting system , which is a further development of the ClickRail on-roof system. Even before the start of sales, i.e. during the development phase of ClickEasy, more than 3.5 MW of solar systems were sold as test projects and successfully installed. In addition, a new application of the successful ClickPlain in-roof system will be presented at the Intersolar, the ClickCon BikePort . With this modular BikePort system, ClickCon is responding to the rapidly growing demands of the market in relation to electromobility. Talks are still being held at the Intersolar with interested communities and tourist offices, who recognize the great potential of the BikePort system for themselves. In 2013 the largest single carport with fully integrated glass/glass modules was built. It is 20m x 18m in size and has an output of 50.0 kWp. In 2013, Hans Böcherer left the company and Alexander Koller became the sole managing director of ClickCon GmbH. In 2013 ClickCon can look back on another successful year, in which another 11 MW of solar projects could be realized. However, the focus of sales has clearly shifted to the ClickPlain in-roof mounting system. A cleaning trolley for optimizing solar yields has already been developed and is currently being tested. In 2016, after many successful years in the Wiehre, Clickcon moves to new premises in Freiburg-Rieselfeld, Walter-Benjamin-Str. 10
