3M Doubles Production Capacity For PV Film Production $MMM
3M has expanded the Singapore manufacturing facility for its Scotchshieldfilm – a line of backside-barrier films used in the production ofcrystalline silicon photovoltaic modules. This planned expansiondoubles the production capacity of the facility in response to growingcustomer demand. This new phase of facility construction will becompleted in 2011, the company says.
