Mostlyall campsites are far from cities and require fuel-eating generators tobring illumination after dark. Industrial designer Benjamin Charles is out there to help the camping and the hotel industry with semi-nomad structures that are almost self-sufficient.

DubbedLeav, the shelters come with roof-mounted solar panels that provide theshelter with as much electricity as it needs. Coupled with solarthermal panel to provide hot water for kitchen and bathroom theshelters ensure that your camping vacation isn’t a threat to theecosystem. To give more autonomy to the campers, the shelters areequipped with dry toilets, which save a lot of precious water.
