Green ETFs on Frankfurt Stock Exchange
Green Investing Now
Many green investors look only at the green ETFs and green stocks quoted on the New York Stock Exchange. In addition, most of the web sites dedicated to ETFs only collect information about the ETFs quoted at NYSE. Today I’ll take a short look at the green ETFs quoted on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The Frankfurt Stock Exchange (XETRA) is is one of the biggest stock exchanges in the world. It has over 90 % of turnover in the German market and a big share in Europe. The green ETF sortiment of XETRA includes both international water ETFs and clean energy ETFs. The investing web sites on the Internet tend to be dominated by US investors and US websites. Hence their focus is usually rather US centric. As a result of this, many green investors forget the fact, that green ETFs are available not only on New York Stock Exchange but on European stock markets, as well. At least European green investors should thus consider investing in these ETFs that might be more easily available for the retail investors. The Water ETFs
