Industrial Nanotech Enters Asian Solar Market

Energy Boom

Naples, Florida-based Industrial Nanotech, Inc. (OTC:INTK) announced that the company’s patented Nansulate thermal insulation and asset protection coatings will now be used on all new solar water heater systems manufactured by Asia based First Energy Solution Manufacturing Corporation.

An emerging global leader in nanoscience solutions, Industrial Nanotech is also a research leader and member of the U.S. Green Building Council and the American Solar Energy Society. The Company develops and commercializes new and innovative applications for nanotechnology which are sold worldwide.

According to Francesca Crolley, vice-president of business development for Industrial Nanotech, the company was approached by a number of solar panel and water heater manufacturers for trials with Nansulate Solar since it was released earlier this year.

“We are pleased that First Energy Solution has started using our coatings on all new water heater systems they produce to increase efficiency,” Crolley said. “Their company first began trials on their solar water heater systems with both Nansulate Solar and Nansulate Translucent GP in July of 2009. After successfully completing the trials and confirming the benefits, they ordered product to be used in a large solar water heating system for a new hotel/condo tower to insulate in conjunction with their industrial series of solar heaters.”

Crolley said First Energy Solution recently informed Industrial Nanotech that Nansulate will be standard on all systems they manufacture from this point forward and they will be providing her company with an estimate of their quarterly order amounts.

The Asian market for solar energy is currently more than ten times that of all of Europe and projected to grow at an annual rate of over 20% - 30%.

Nansulate is Industrial Nanotech’s patented product line of award winning, specialty coatings. The coatings contain a nanotechnology based material which is well-documented to provide the combined performance qualities of thermal insulation, corrosion prevention, resistance to mold growth, fire resistance, chemical resistance and lead encapsulation in an environmentally safe, water-based, formulation.  The Nansulate product line includes industrial, residential, agricultural, and solar thermal insulation coatings.
