Scosche Debuts solBAT II Solar Cellphone Charger

With an increase in the number of gadgets in our electronic gear, manufacturers around the world are coming up with devices that help our gear running in a clean manner. Scosche Industries has announced the availability of its solBAT II solar-powered charger and battery backup device that can work with almost any handled device that supports USB charging.

The device harnesses clean energy from the sun, which is then stored in an onboard lithium ion 1500mA battery with an output of 5V. The solBAT II features a windshield mount and a universal carabineer mount making it easy to soak up the sun’s clean energy. The company is claiming that a fully charger solBAT II can power a typical cellphone up to two times.
