Amtech announces $20 million in new solar orders

Amtech Systems Inc., a global supplier of production and automationsystems and related supplies for the manufacture of solar cells,semiconductors, and silicon wafers, announced that its solar subsidiary, Tempress Systems Inc., has received approximately $20 million in newsolar orders for its diffusion processing systems from two new customers and several existing customers in Asia.

Including these mostrecent orders, Amtech’s solar orders in its fiscal 2010 third quartertotal $35 million, and total solar orders to-date in fiscal 2010 havereached approximately $118 million. Amtech’s fiscal 2010 began October1, 2009.
